I was fully prepared to go against the grain today and proclaim that 2012 was going to SUCK BALLS, mostly because I’ve been in a bad mood and still sick.  And 2012 has pretty much sucked so far.

But then, on the weekend, I found this kelly green dress at H&M for 40 bucks and it fits me great and it’s all springy and loverly and looks a *little* like a Roland Mouret dress (minus all the wonderful tailoring and Parisianess and fabulous stretchy material, etc., etc.).  You can’t fully see it because I had to wear a blazer today due to extreme-job-seriousness, but still.  Plus my hair looks awesome.

So now I have the confidence to exclaim my love for 2012 and all it will bring.

Yes.  That is all it takes.
