The Craziest Girl On The Block!

Another weekend, another couple of vintage purchases.  I’m either getting really good at finding adorable and amazing things, or I’m getting really good at convincing myself that I’m getting good at finding adorable and amazing things.  I’m fairly certain it’s the latter.

Anyways, I was talking a walk in Parkdale with A-Balls, and we wandered into Philistine, which has a really, really great selection of vintage stuff.  A-Balls picked out this totally adorable 1950′s sundress with aztec-y western pattern on the bottom for me.  It fits so perfectly amazingly well… except that there are these weird boobie inserts from the 50′s that I’m going to have to remove… those crazy 1950′s girls with their boobie inserts:

I love it.  It makes me feel pretty.

I also found this silk floral oversized shirt from Oscar de la Renta.

YEAH, YA HEARD ME.  Oscar de la Renta all over my torso.

At first, Molly was interested in my vintage score:

Then she decided that I’m boring and fell asleep and farted all night:

can you believe that it is a swim dress…? them 50′s ladies musta been real strong not to sink to the bottom of a lake in knee-length wool numbers like the one you got there.
